Hi  Becky,

I forgot the first individual painted his dogs nails for the walk; he raised
a good bit of money, too--great stories--thanks for reminding us why people
might want to do it if only occasionally.

A guy on another list was doing a fund raiser walk. He was raising money
for, I think abused women. He wore brightly colored high heals and his guide
dog indee had toe nails painted the same color as his shoes. Someone else
got married and wanted there guide dog in the wedding. A special decoration
went over the harness and the dog's toe nails were painted. Just a couple of
wonderful examples of why very respected handlers would want to paint there
do's nails.

why would any self respecting dog owner or handler paint their dogs toe
