Is that legal? It's a concert, not an airport. I would follow up with the
venue and find out why they did that. JMHO, they should not be allowed to do
anything more than ask the two questions.

Last night, we went to a concert.  A security person wanted to check over
Ben, not sure why, but I let her.  She ran her hands over him, like they do
at the airport, then she looked at his ID tags.  Ben has 2:  one with my
address, and one saying Seeing Eye and their address.  I think she was
confirming that he's a genuine service dog.
I thought it was funny and a bit odd.  In 34 years, I don't remember anyone
ever looking at the school ID tag.
