Hi friends,
I write to you with a heavy, scared heart tonight.
In the last week my girl has wet her crate a number of times, and just not
been herself.
Today, I took her to the vet, because I didn't know what was up, I thought
maybe it was a urinary tract infection.
however, something much more is at steak.
The vet did a urinalysis, no infection, but the urine wasn't concentrated at
all, like, it looked and tested nearly like water.
This greatly concerned the vet since she's not getting a ton of water
anyway, since I have her on a watering schedule.
She's also lost nearly 10 pounds since we left the school, and she wasn't
that big to begin with.
We're increasing her food and water, but they also did blood work and I'll
know more tomorrow.
If you pray, please pray for my girl.
The vet said it could be a number of things from kidney failure, diabetes,
diabetes incipidus, and a bunch of other things that had names too long to
remember.
I'll update you all when I know.
Garbo is not even 2 yet, I shouldn't have to be thinking of these things,
but I am, and I'm praying that maybe its a behavior thing or maybe
increasing the water will help, but I"m terrified at this point.
