Lizzy,

I put three meals in my carry-on luggage and the rest in the checked
luggage. Sometimes I also carry a few treats in my purse.

Lizzy,

I echo what many have said here. You can take dry food through security.
Most of my frequent travels are with carry-on luggage only. I put one day's
servings of dry food in a zip lock sandwich bag. If I am gone for five or
six days I thus have five or six sandwich baggies full of dry food, all in
my rolerbag. There is NO problem with this.

The only thing I have found is that if I take a nylabone or Galileo on board
I need to keep it out as the SA machines often recognize it as a bottle with
liquids. Crazy but true.

So, don't worry about carrying food on board. Of course, if you have
checked luggage it goes without saying that you can put food in it as well.
Enjoy the convention and have no fears for insuring that your dog will eat.

Best,

You can put food in your checked bags. I also have been known to put a
serving of food in my carryon without issue.
