[nagdu] Putting toys away

Hi Nicole and Minh,
I taught Paulson to put his toys away two summers ago and boy was that a process.
I used the clicker and a designated area. I started with having Paulson touch the area or the bin I wanted his toys to go in. Once he got that down we worked on bringing toys to the area. This took a lot of time and work. Once I could get Paulson to drop his toys around the area I wanted them to go I introduced him to the bin. I let him take toys out. Once he was done playing with one I had him bring it back and drop it as close or in the bin before he could get another toy. Believe me this took a long time and at times I thought he would never get it. Stick with it they love the game. The toys with peanut butter or treats work really well for this. If you have a kong you can put stuff in it will make the process that much better.
I hope this helps.
