Dear Danielle:

I feed my lab golden mix Lava a combination of raw meats and a freeze dried
lamb food from K9 Naturals. This is a great dry food available from
www.chewy.com. It has all the nutrients of raw meat without all of the nasty
additives found in kibble. For Lava's raw meats, I buy from websites like
www.mypetcarnivore.com and www.hare-today.com. If you have any questions,

can connect with Raven here on the list. She provided invaluable information
to me as I transitioned Lava from kibble to a raw diet.

Hi all,

I just found out that I will be beginning class to receive my guide dog on
July 14th. I am trying to plan ahead and think about possible feeding
options. At the very least, I would like to feed a grain free kibble. I have
also been considering the idea of feeding a dehydrated food, possibly part
raw as well. Have any of you fed dehydrated food to your dogs? Are there any
types of food, both grain free kibble and dehydrated,  you would recommend?
