[nagdu] Dog distraction question?

Hi Daryl,
I would say just talk Jenny through it. Keep talking to her, telling
her "leave it," "Good leave it," "Come on, forward," "Good forward,"
"good work,, Jenny," "Good girl."
As someone who has a dog with a strong dog distraction, I find that
talking him through it works for us.
Obedience routines might help, too. Not a complete one, just a quick,
sit, down, sit-stay, and on-leash recall, or something like that.
You could also stop and give Jenny the "touch" cue several times,
moving your hand around between each cue, ensuring that she focuses on
you to find your hand and receive a yummy treat.
