Mardi,
I would also encourage you to get in touch with your state's
Attorney Generals office. They may be able to talk some sense into the
governor and explain to him that this law is unenforceable!

Mardi here from Arizona. I would think if they consulted the ADA,they would
know they can't do this. This is highly discriminatory. The ADA would trump
this policy and it would not be worth the paper it was written
on.Recently, our Governor passed a law in Arizona, that Service animals must
be trained by an accredited `Service Dog School and must have school ID to
be able to accompany their handlers in public here. Like I said, not worth
the paper it was written on!!!!! I heard this law passed on the local news.
I did not hear when it is supposed to take affect. I have not found this law
in our other laws yet. I will be sending a letter to our Governor about this
matter.I will also let our state Representatives know how our service dog
users feel about this stupid law. I know why they passed it as we all know,
but this is not the solution to that problem either. Mardi and Shaman and
Neechee.
