[nagdu] Possibly switching dog food advice would be welcome

Lizzie,

Jenny also eats ProPlan chicken and rice. I often get complements on her lovely fur coat. She almost always has solid stool (unless she... ahem... gets into the cat box...) and goes 1-2 times a day. If we do a lot more walking, she will usually go twice, and a little bit closer together.

 Lizzy,
I am a huge fan of ProPlan Chicken and rice. My black Lab, Wade, has
been on this particular dog food since I got him last year at The Seeing
Eye. Wade's stool is solid and he goes twice a day. His coat is gorgeous and
he has never had to see my vet for anything other than his inoculations. I'm
just wondering why you switch from ProPlan. Wade loves it. He's 63 lbs and I
feed him a cup and a quarter in the morning and again at around 5:30.

Hope this helps,

Kathy Davis and Wade the wonderful

Hi All,
I know I'm coming late to this one, but I'm wondering if anyone
can be more specific about the differences in stool noticed after
going grain-free. The reason I ask is because I was feeding my
girl ProPlan Chicken and rice but switched to Nature's Domain
Turkey and Sweet potato. After the switch, she needs to poop 2-3
times a day, but on ProPlan she only went once. Anyone know why
this might be? It's been about three weeks since we've made the
switch, so I'm thinking she should be adjusted to it by now.
Just curious about whether or not this is normal.
Thanks,
Lizzy
