Congratulations!  I hope you have a wonderful time, and grow to love your new guide.
As others have said, don't forget to grieve for Faye and for the loss of your dream and hope of a strong relationship with her.  I am sure that GDF will have some form of sessions for guide dog users who are transitioning to another dog.

It's a go! 
I got my flight itinerary and the information for the pre-class phone call today, so will be going to the early April class at GDF. It is to their credit that they got me into a class so quickly since it is the only chance I have for the next year. Wish me luck!
