Hi Marsha.
Yes, I live in north NJ.  Another winter like the one we just had wouldn't 
really surprise me.  With climate change, the Arctic is warming, and the 
dreaded polar vortex is coming south.
I agree that a dog is much better in snow than a cane.  I just don't much 
like to be cold and wet.  But then, who does?

When I think of Morristown winters, I think of George Washington's men 
surviving it, and some of those guys had bad shoes and coats, so I try to 
count my blessings, while I shiver.
November or December should be sort of OK, though.
