[nagdu] Getting time off work for class

Sorry for the second email, I accidentally hit send on the first one before it was done. *grin*

My employer saw training as a reasonable accommodation, so I did not have to take any sick time or vacation time.  I work at a very small nonprofit, so things like that happen I guess.  I'm lucky.  But most people I know do have to take vacation time usually employers are pretty helpful when it comes to finding a solution for this.  Can you perhaps ask about it before you decide go for training?  Feeling out the situation beforehand might be the way to approach this, just my opinion.
