[nagdu] Groomers revisited

I personally groom my golden because it saves money. Mind you, I'm a
college kid working two jobs. I'd also rather not have to worry about
finding someone who I can trust my dog with.
Fortunately, I don't have to bathe him that often, even though he
doesn't mind it. I only bathe him once or twice a year whenever he
gets skunked or gets into something. Other than that, a daily raking
and brushing keeps him clean. His fur doesn't get gross, stinky, or
anything, so I don't find scheduled bathing necessary.
Too, I don't want anyone messing with his ears. For almost a year, I
have not had to clean his ears at all, thank God! So I don't want
anyone putting anything in them.
I also trim his slippers, feathering, and nails myself. I have a
Drimmel to grind his nails down, and a pair of baby nail scissors to
take care of the slippers and feathering.
