[nagdu] Groomers revisited

Hmm, Jody; I'm sorry to hear that. We have had excellent service from our local Petco from where our cat will soon be bought home by a friend of ours. I don't normally have the cat groomed or bathed, but he is a ragdoll with a tongue not so rough, so I figure I'll help him out occasionally, and I don't do nails--I admire those of you who clip you own dogs' nails.

I wouldn't be going back to Petco if my dog came home with fleas either; no excuse for that, as I wouldn't have a dog in my establishment
From whom I couldn't eradicate the fleas in a safe manner so as not to infect the whole groomer.

I normally shampoo my dog myself but I got a coupon to have him groomed at Petco. He was there for 2 1/2 hours they trimmed his nails and clean his years. They really did a nice job cleaning his ears and trimming his nails and blow drying his fur. Unfortunately he came home with fleas which infested the house and my daughters five cats. We spent a fortune on flea spray'etc.

I will continue to shampoo him myself and avoid the expense and headache of professional grooming
