[nagdu] Class - graduation!

Here's my last journal entry, this time for sure!
We had our last training session today. We are now done with training.
Krokus walked along at a slow but acceptable pace along walks he's been very
slow on before. He went a bit off in one crossing, but we reworked it and
he was fine. We got 2 traffic checks, which he did well. So we're good to
go!

TSE doesn't have a graduation, which I am glad about. Instead, they have
the exit interview--a chance to sit down with either the CEO or the director
of training and talk about what I liked and didn't like about class. Some
things they explain why it is what it is, and some things they change. I
haven't heard of another school giving students a chance to formally talk
things over with the guys in charge, and I think it's a great idea.

So now we're starting our big adventure out on our own, though someone can
be here to help if I have problems. I think Krokus will do very well. He's
young and inexperienced, and sometimes a bit unsure, but I think he'll grow
into a very fine guide. He's already starting to settle a bit in the house,
too. I'm quite pleased with him.

I'm not sure I ever described him. He's 22.5 inches tall, with a light,
thin build. He has soft fur, which is a bit wavy on his back. He has a
thin lab tail. He is light yellow. Some people say platinum blond; others
say almost cream. He has a big head, with a big nose. His lips hang down
on either side of his chin, kind of like a St. Bernard. When he alerts and
puts his ears forward, his head gets all wrinkled. Jan says he does a
sharpei imitation, getting all wrinkly. He has light, gold eyes. He's very
handsome, and cute.
