Subject: [nagdu] Retired my dog

The school and i decided to retire the dog.
He is in a home here in town.
The school felt at four and a half was to old to retrain the dog.
I asked down the rode is it possible to come back for another dog.
Reply was it will depend on how we feel at the time of the application.
Yet a couple months ago same instructor shared that it might be wise to
retire same dog and get a different one.
I am so tired of begging schools to travel the way I love to travel.
If anyone could share with me the list on behalf of training my own dog, I
would like to get on and learn as much information as I can.
Then I won't have to have a school breathing down my neck if I did this rite
or wrong.

I also can get the size of dog I have wished for many years Before I travel
quickly I have questions on behalf of working with a half heart At no time
will I be traveling four miles a day as I was asked from one of the schools.
We Will be in the same city where we will move on the north side of a busy
street to be near our church.
I have many questions to ask my doctor on the progress of my heart.
I do ride my exercise bike that strengthens my heart and good exercise.
I went to mass last night and cried, feeling I was a failure where I know
this isn't true.
Each one of us puts much energy into working our dogs.
When this is taken away either from you or the school deciding enough is
enough, that is quite hard as well.
The school kept getting calls from a clinic we go to asking questions on
behalf of how I work the dog.
For a month I was getting calls weekly.
Over stupid things, that could have been answered by me.
The gentle leader is to tight as they called it a muzzle.
She pulls on the leash correcting the dog.
Just stuff like this that is unreal.
I even had a animal control person stop in because the neighbor didn't like
the dog tied up by me sitting on the glider.
Where the school suggested for me to do this, because when persons and dogs
would go by my dog would run to the gate play tough dog, and scare all away.
We didn't want this to keep happening.
His work walking a mile a day some times a mile and a half depending on my
heart if I could do this, he loved.
I would pick times when the park was quite busy with picnics or basket ball
playing.
Base ball as well.
just to keep his skills up on not wanting to play with everyone.
In the summer we would walk either in the evenings or mornings. I tried to
keep his feet off the hot sidewalks.
Jaron is four and a half. He could have worked three more years. Except for
his problems he just couldn't stop.
No matter what we did.
I have moved on, quite shaken, believe in the dog movement and Will decide
what is best for me with my doctors help.
Only we can decide what to do.
Again please send me the name of the list on home training.
I love a challenge and I believe in myself.
We are also thinking of the vibrating cane.
I made a promise if I got the cane, I wouldn't use a dog.
I know the cane would keep me from running into objects.
This is what I am used to with the dog.
As you know, you walk differently with a cane than you do with the dog.
We have snow here, so this isn't something I can do getting out and walking
a mile.
The temps need to be warmer.
If list owners wish for me to get off the list until I decide what is
happening, just let me know and I will do as you have asked.
Blessings always,
