I love it when people tell me they have a dog just like him at home, but the dog is a completely different breed or a different color! Hmmm...
People often ask, "Is that a guard dog"?
I'm sure I will think of more soon, LOL.

Curious questions:
1. What kind of dog is he? To my obvious lab: is he a labrador?
2. How old is he? 
3. And perhaps my favorite: He looks just like [insert name of beloved departed family pet]. 

Misconceptions:
1. How does he know when to cross the street? Does he read the traffic lights?
2. So…he just knows where you’re going? You just pick up the handle and go?
