This is a fun topic!
I was telling my cornea specialist that I was planning on retiring Pascal. 
He asked me, "Do retired guide dogs go to the old folks home?"
I told him, "Yes, he is going to live with my Mom and Step-Dad, they are old folks!" LOL
We still joke about this.

Yeah, back when I worked at Hell, I mean Verizon, no I really did mean Hell. Anyway, when I was retiring Karl, after the zillionth person asked me how it works getting the next dog, I said, “Oh, you pay $19.95, and they ship you one via UPS.” Yeah, she believed me. I had to tell her I was joking and how it really worked.
