My friend who had the driver leave with Lyft would have been 
charged a $5 cancellation fee.  So he wanted the driver to cancel 
the ride, since it was the driver who refused to take him.  The 
driver did finally cancel the ride, and my friend did get an 
email from Lyft saying that they would take care of the
