Dear All,

Let me also add to and support what Aaron has stated. Apple keeps
statistics about the app, especially information about how many downloads it
gets. This sort of information supports the work we do by adding credibility
to our organization and affording those who will fund us a greater sense of
confidence. Please encourage everyone you know to download the app. It is
valuable information and a great springboard to other conversations!

Fraternally yours,

Marion Gwizdala

Subject: [nagdu] Now the app is released, we need your help

Hi all.

As any serious app developer will tell you, once an app is released, the
real work is only just beginning. However, if we can get help from folks on
this list, it will be a lot easier. If not, then frankly, the chances of
the app being successful go way down.
Fortunately, what you need to do is very simple, and perhaps something you
might have done anyway. Here they are, listed in order of most important
first:

1. Tell people about the app. If you're on other non-NFB mailing lists
(people on all NFB lists already received Marion's email), consider
forwarding Marion's email. Or, if you don't think that would be
appropriate, you could just mention the app, and tell people that they can
find it by searching for "nagdu" in the Apple App Store. If you're on
Facebook, Twitter, or another social network, share a message or link to the
app there. If you frequent a web site or message forum that discusses guide
or other types of service dogs, or that discusses IOS apps, share it there.
In short, help us spread the word.

2. If you have an iDevice, download and try out the app. If you like what
you see, consider rating or reviewing us in the App Store. If you don't,
drop me a note and let me know, so I can make sure that the app is good as
it can be.

3. Learn the app. Take a look at the information that's available,
particularly your state law. Learn your rights. Notice anything missing?
Let us know.

Thank you for your support in getting the word out about this important
resource.

Aaron
