[nagdu] renaissance festivals

These are fun. There will be people in armor which either dog may or may not like. Also people on stilts which your dog may or may not like.
There will be food on the ground.
Really, it depends on what you're wanting to do. If you want to deal with a distracted dog or view this as a learning event, then your dog will be fine. If you just want to enjoy yourself, then you may want to leave your dog home.

Subject: [nagdu] renaissance festivals

Has anyone taken your guide to a renaissance festival? I’m going this weekend and I’m trying to figure out if I should take Monty, Jetta or neither. I’ve not been to one before so I’m not really sure what to expect.

I’m sure Monty would do fine, but he would be anxious and will require a lot of emotional coaching. Jetta won’t be anxious, but she will be distracted with all the interesting things to look at.

Thanks!
Julie
