Hi Shana, wow, you and Diamond both did well.  When I lived in 
Eugene, Oregon I had lots of experiences like that.  The weirdest 
was every year the Grateful Dead did a concert event in Eugene.  
About two weeks before the concert (which I think was more than 
one performance), all these Dead Heads would come into town.  I 
heard comments like: "Wow, far out, that dog's taking that lady 
across the street".  People would come up to us in various 
degrees of being stoned, high, whatever you want to call it and 
talk to us, try to pet my dog, etc.  Generally these people were 
pretty mellow but occasionally somebody would get angry, and all 
I could do was just keep walking down the street.    Peace,
