[nagdu] Going to Prison.

Some puppies at the Guide Dog Foundation/America's Vet Dogs are raised
in prison enviornments. The way I understand it, the puppy lives with
the prisoner during the week. As someone has pointed out, the puppy
becomes the sole focus of the prisoner. No puppy raised in a home
environment is going to get that kind of one on one attention. On the
weekends, the puppy lives with a puppy raiser who has volunteered to
raise a puppy part time.
