[nagdu] Hello

Hi Dan and Parker, 
so glad to have found another guide dogs mailing list that appears to be far more active than some of the others I've joined.  
What would you like to know about guide dogs here in the UK?  
I was up until last year the branch organiser for my local fundraising group in Brighton, speaker for guide dogs, campaigner and in general a local disability rights campaigner for my city.  
I've handed over the branch organising to another gdo as moving in with my girlfriend is more important to me now than dealing with the group.  :) 
I need to get out of Brighton as it's becoming hellishly expensive for any disabled person who lives off welfare to live there comfortably.  Belfast, Northern Ireland is far more a better quality of life and cheaper.  
So I get away form the expense but unfortunately have to put up with the cold.  hahaha 
I'd love to know more about you and Parker.  How did you lose your sight or were you born with a visual impairment?  What is Parker?
