[nagdu] process of getting a guide dog from leader dog

Well, I don't work my young dog 2 miles a day, usually, but we do go somewhere every day, and at least 2 or 3 days a week, we go quite a bit.
However, there is value in having a dog to run errands with, like grocery-shopping or whatever. But they do need something to do. I'd think that, at some point, the effort required to maintain a working dog would be more than the returns on that work, and then, well, why not just get a pet? But everyone has to make that decision on their own, since we all have different lives.

I was wondering the same thing Tracy.
i work my dog about 2 miles a day, minimum, 6 days a week.
i think that a trained young guide will be bored sitting home all the time.
