Then there is also the exercise room, the computer room, the walking path, 
the baby grand piano to play, HAM radio station, books to read, laundry room 
so you can wash your own clothes, lounges to talk with people, smoking area, 
off leash play area for you and your dog, big field to kick back in, 
gazebos, and lots of the finest class members ever.

With all due respect, you're not at guide dog school to socialize. You're at 
guide dog school to learn to work with and bond with your dog. Believe me 
when I tell you, you're going to have enough to do by doing those things. It 
is very likely that you will be pretty wiped out at the end of your day, 
especially as your class time nears its end.

That said, students often get together and chat, play games, play music, and 
have lots of tasty snacks during downtime.
