[nagdu] Frequent urination.

Yes, that's what I did. I sort of remembered that was important.
How does one know when it's a problem, and when it's not?

Hey Tracy,
It could just be that's how he is. If you decide to do the SG again, make sure it is the first catch of the day.

>> Hi,
>> I've had Mambo for just over 5 months now, and he turned 2 in July. He has always had to urinate rather frequently. He is on a water schedule, getting 2 cups, four times per day. He is the type of dog who will drink all of the water he is offered within a few minutes.
>> His trainers, the Vet, and other sighted people have remarked on how his pee is very diluted. But, no one thinks it's anything to be concerned about. But, I'm beginning to wonder if it is...
>> When we are out and about, he has to pee almost every 1-1 ½ hours. At work, when he is sleeping on his bed, he can go about 4 hours without having to relieve, but when he is actively moving around he needs to go more frequently. Many times, we've been halfway through a shopping trip and he indicates that he needs to relieve. So, I will have to stop what I'm doing and hurry up and rush him outside. At restaurants, if he's been lying down for more than an hour, I have to pretty much rush outside as soon as I get up from the table. Sometimes, we have to stop mid-route and allow him to have a potty break. Luckily, he only has had one accident, and that was a few days after coming home and he had a UTI.
>> Am I giving him too much water? Is this normal for his age? Was I too spoiled by my last dog? LOL. Should I be worried that it may be some type of health problem? The Vet and trainers did not seem too concerned. But, this is affecting our daily routine at times.
