[nagdu] process of getting in to the seeing eye

John,
I am also picky about breed, forever and always. However, I suggest
you be picky for very specific reasons.
When I asked GEB for a golden, I also told them that I had a strong
preference against labradors. I like many things about goldens, and
there are many things I prefer not to deal with from labs or shepherds
on an all-day daily basis.

There is nothing wrong with being picky, but I'd say if you're willing
to work another breed, let the trainers choose. And if you decide to
be picky, understand that you will likely have a longer wait on your
hands. This is because the school isn't just matching you with an
available female golden, but an available female golden with your
pace, need for pull, lifestyle preferences, and specific and personal
needs in mind. You could get lucky like me and the school has an
instant match, but that's not likely.

have or what you do.
