[NAGDU] How Do You Plan for Christmas

Since our house is highly populated by houseplants, I think my dog
treats the Christmas tree like another house plant and just ignores
it. It smells so strongly anyway that he is not attracted to it.

As far as the decorations, the funniest thing ever is when we brought
up a case of Christmas bulbs to decorate the tree for the Golden Guy's
1st Christmas season with us, and he was convinced we'd brought up the
mother load of balls. A few sharp "leave it's" and he left them alone,
but he was fascinated by this case of 36 Christmas bulbs.

I've heard of puppy-raisers putting a cage of sorts around the bottom
portion of their tree to keep curious pups off the tree, decorations,
and gifts beneath.
