[NAGDU] Hello

19 inches! Wow she's a shorty.

Often during training, the food is increased since there is so much
physical and mental exercise. There are also some dogs notorious for
having ping-ponging weight, so it is best that their food is increased
for a couple months, decreased for a couple months, and continues in
such a pattern.

A valuable practice is to feed according to activity level. A larger
dinner is fed on more active days, and a light dinner is fed on
low-key days.
Not anything you'd ever find out from a guide dog school, training
class, or bag of food 95% of the time, but it is a very practical
approach to maintaining weight.

Not sure how long you gals have been together, but that recall will
come along. Good on you for making that a priority. Many raisers don't
work on this, but it is extremely important.

Wishing you many miles with your new partner!
