[NAGDU] Behavior Changes?

Well, we can learn a lot about what our dogs are thinking/feeling, but we
can't get in their heads any more than in anyone else's. It would be nice if
we could. I know you will be happier once that job is done even if it means
you need to scramble for work.

Hi, Cindy,
You were not unkind in the least!
I tend to brood, obsess, and otherwise question EVERYTHING.

I think you're right; take the comfort/bonding/relaxing behavior for what it
is. It was just perplexing because of the timing, like this switch had gone
off.

Daryl

Don't let me be unkind, but I have a sense you analyze what your dog is
doing too much. If she isn't sick, if she is well-behaved, and if you like
her on your feet, let her help you relax by being there.
Hugs,

Subject: [NAGDU] Behavior Changes?

Good morning,

Not sure if I should worry about this, but I am a bit concerned (or maybe
comforted) by a recent behavior change in Jenny.
In previous jobs, Jenny has always slept on a bed under my desk.
Occasionally, she would curl up on my feet, and we would have some bonding
time.

At the job I am currently at (leaving at the end of the year), Jenny has
never once curled up on my feet, not even tried to. Since I received my
verbal notice of termination, she has spent nearly half of every day curled
up under my desk or on my feet. Either she's freaking out and needing some
comfort because of my mild nervousness, or she's intensely relieved like I
am and feels she can relax.

Any thoughts?

Daryl
