Hi, Becky,
I run titers on Jenny for her "yearly" vaccines. She reacted quite badly to some of all of them when I gave them to her last year, so I would rather run titers. Her body still had antibodies for all of them!
Next year (2016) she needs her rabies vaccine. This is required by law here in Canada, as well as if you wish to cross the border into the USA. If I wish to travel with my guide (and I do), it's required. So what I'll do is have a vet appointment on the last working day before a long weekend, which would give her a few days to rest... just in case.

Interesting information. Hey if you don't have to vaxinate, why do such. I
do not know how to go about finding the paper work you need, but your vet
might. 

When Jake was a puppy he had bad reactions to vaxinations. So my vet gives
him an extra shot so he won't swell up.

Hi, everyone, there are 18 states that allow medical exemptions for rabies
vaccines : Alabama, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois,
Maine, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Nevada, New York,
Oregon, Pennsylvania,Vermont, Virginia, Wisconsin. Most if not all of these
require a vet to certify the vaccine could harm the animal.
N, I think you are in Florida, which does allow such exemptions and any of
you in California or one of the other states mentioned are good as well. I'm
in Ohio, which means a rabies vaccine every 3 years regardless.
