[nagdu] Returning to work with a new dog.

Hi all,
I still have a little while until I go get my new guide dog, but I'd like to start planning a few things in the meantime.
I have a question for you all.
When you return home with your new guide dog, do you take some time off of work? Or do you return to work the next day?
I can't remember how I did it with Pascal, LOL.
