Hey, Tracy,

Thankfully it was all fresh snow that she was running in, and the wound is healing nicely. On further examination, it was a scrape, not a cut. We've been hanging out at home for the past 24 hours just to watch her, and because we were cooking all day yesterday, so she has been off it a bit. She is still walking and playing and happy. We are going for coffee today, so I will make sure to put her PAWZ boots on her, and make double sure it is clean by wiping it down when we get back :)

I'd ask the vet.
With all the winter crud on the sidewalks, it would be easy for it to get
infected, so do your best to keep it clean.

Hey!
Jenny was on an off-leash run today and she cut her paw pad. I had an
emergency kit with me, so we cleaned up the wound, stopped the bleeding and
put a Pawz boot over the gauze.

the wound seems to be fine now; we are cleaning it periodically, she is not
licking it, limping, favoring it, or showing any other signs that it is
bothering her. I am just concerned by the amount that it bled, and want to
know how to proceed for here or what to look for.

Daryl
