Cecelia,

	If your friend is planning on attending our national convention,
several guide dog training program representatives will be there. Some offer
Juno walks in which a trainer acts as the guide dog to give a person a
simulation of what it is like to work with a dog. Others offer an actual
experience of working with a guide dog. Also, there are some people who
would let you walk with their dog. I used to do this with my previous dog,
Louiza; however, my current guide is a handful and would not be a good
experience for a novice handler! (grin)

I have a friend who's considering getting a guide dog, but she's not a
hundred percent sure.
She asked me if I knew of any guide dog related seminars or camps, where she
could get more information, or even feel what's it like walking with a dog.
I really don't know of any, but I told her I would ask in here...
So yeah, if any of you knows of any such things, please share.
