[nagdu] Relieving issues

Hello all,
I just want to put my two cents worth in here, I am on my second guide dog
and he is on basically
once in the morning, 8-10 a.m. and once in the afternoon around for 5
o'clock. He gets fed twice a day
once in the morning 8 AM and once in the evening at 5 PM. Occasionally if we
go out for a walk in between
those times he might do a number one job but not necessarily and not every
time.

It is my opinion in my opinion only, that you set the schedule that you want
to feed water and break your dog,
and your dog will adjust to it. It is no different than the extra training
that you give them, like
find the garbage, or in my case I walk normally every day to get my mail and
all I have to do,
is give the command get mail and my dog will go to the back door. If we are
going to go somewhere
like grocery store I give the command were going to the grocery store and he
goes to the back door
and we put our harness on an our equipment and use the command find the car
and he goes to the garage.
He has a kong toy and I will ask him to find a toy he finds the gone drops
to that my feet I pick it up,
but if you treats in it and lay it on the floor, and he has fun. I am a
retired person who has always
gone to work early in the morning and came home about the same time every
day and so it is easy
for me to have this routine, for some people who do not have a set routine
in their lifestyle this may be a little more difficult
but I believe that in order to maintain a healthy service dog a set routine
is a must.

Now that I have given my opinion expressed my energies I will go back to
what I was working on
on my computer.
Sincerely,
Jack Rupert
