Hi John, probably one grape tomato won't hurt. We all drop stuff, and try to get it before our dogs do. But unfortunately it doesn't always happen. All you can do is do your best. If I drop something, right away I will tell Neena to leave it. She's getting better about doing that, but not perfect. Peace, Debby and Neena
