[nagdu] water intake question

Every dog has different water needs.  My previous two dogs drank quite a lot
of water, whereas Petunia drinks very little. But she's healthy not
dehydrated or anything. I wouldn't worry about it.

I don't know about volume, but I know that Jenny drinks when she is thirsty;

I don't have to watch her water intake like a hawk.  Obviously dogs drink 
more when it is hot, and their patterns can change somewhat due to stress 
and changes in routine or diet...
Does Molly drink freely?  If so, she will drink when she is thirsty; you 
just have to change the water every day.

Now, if she cannot self-regulate, that's a whole other story... 
unfortunately I don't have any advice, as I have not experienced it.

My parents think that I should give her 6-8 cups of water a day.
How much water does a guide dog need who is a puppy?
