[nagdu] The membership has spoken, and I am disappointed

The resolutions were considered from 3:20 until they were completed. There
were 29 resolutions which would have taken almost the entire day to read
and, in the case of the one guide dog ownership resolution, discuss. They
were not a last minute agenda item.

Hi,

I think one problem is not enough time. They leave resolutions to the last
few minutes of the general sessions. By this time some people have left to
go to restrooms, other meetings or to get their dogs out before they are
attacked by a m;illian swinging canes. I would like to see them consider
placing resolutions earlier in the daily schedule with plenty of time for
discussions and questions. I think this would improve everyone's
understanding of the resolution and maybe avoid rushing to get them done in
the last few minutes of the general session. By that time, everyone is
tired, wrestless, hungry and in a hurry to get it over so they can leave.

Hi Margo, I totally agree. Non passage of this Resolution is inconsistent
with NFB philosophy. I believe that we were too hasty to get through all the
resolutions, and perhaps there were too many for the time allotted for them.

I do not know who this feedback should go to, but I will be finding out and
giving it to someone. We now have voted on resolutions that are policy. We
need to giv them the seriousness and discussion they deserve.
