I am  not sure it is the church. I know the insurance on this home does not
allow us to have a shepherd and several other breeds as pets. They do though
have to allow those breeds to come and be service or guide dogs. So it
really might be the insurance person putting the hammer down and the Pastor
just doesn't know the agent is dead wrong. Best for the Pastor and Cathy who
I know, to check with the Insurance Commission in Ohio, where cathy lives.

The separation of church and state predates the ADA by quite a bit.  Freedom
of religion is a fundamental tenant of this country.  If churches were not
exempt from the ADA, then quite a few other laws would also have to be
changed, like all of them.

I think what happened to the lady is sad.  I don't understand how there was
no problem in the church or at other church functions, but somehow the bus
was different.  Makes no sense to me.  However if a church wants to be
prejudice, it is their prerogative.  I would think the being Christian part
would compensate for the lack of laws.  They would do the right thing out of
decency, not because there is a law saying they must,  but I guess not.
