Hi everyone,

 

I haven't had a chance to read all of the messages regarding Daryl Marie's
work situation. However, I think the bottom line here is that it should be a
decision on the handler's part whether to leave the dog at the desk or take
him to office meetings. Fear of dogs or allergies for that matter is not a
basis for denying access under the ADA, from what I understand.

I'm just afraid that we're dealing with a slippery slope here where  Daryl
is going to be asked to make one concession after another because of a
coworker's unfounded fears.

 

Just my thoughts here.
