[nagdu] dogfood keeper

Tracy, I came close to having back surgery. So my Vittle Vaults sitting on a
shelf in my Limon closet. No bending smile. Just a tip for all. Line your
particular container where the dog food is with a trash bag. Tracy would
need one of the larger bags for a can like hers. The white bags work fine
for the Vittle Vault. I put a rubber band string depending on what I have
handy, on the outside to hold the bag open. This way when it is almost
empty, I can put the new food in a new bag and just empty the old bag
contents on top. Forty pounds of dog food does not fit in a Vittle Vault by
the way.

Becky and the fluffy flying fur ball, dats me, toothy grin. Love Jake

For decades, I've kept my dogfood in a 20-gallon steel trash can, in the
bag, in the corner of my kitchen. It's worked well, but kibbles that fall
out of the bag into the bottom of the can are pretty much wasted, just
because it's hard to reach down there and dig them out. I'm debating
getting a Vittle Vault, where I could just pour in the food. My main
concern is the Vault is so short, I'd have to scrunch down to get at the
food, unless I found something sturdy to sit the vault on. Counter space is
at a premium in my kitchen, so I'd prefer it to stay in the corner where the
current can is.

Do other people have a Vittle Vault, and do you have it on the floor, or
sitting on something, and, if so, what?

Tracy
