Hi.
personally, the more natural the dog can be, the better. 85 to 90 degrees is most definitely not to hot for a dog.
the only time i restrict my walking is if it’s over 95 degrees. it’s to hot for both me and the dog.

If you live in a high humidity area, the vest won't work so well and could possibly be even hotter than no vest. Just something to consider before folks purchase cooling products. Consider your weather conditions and pick a product that will work for you.

I'm forgetting its hot out there! Where are you again? Alberta? I have been following soccer and should know its been hot out west. Its been cold here! Anyway, what's a cooling vest? Never heard of one! My dog is brown and has only one layer of hair. And, she'll lose that next eek! -----Original Message----- From: nagdu [mailto:nagdu-bounces at nfbnet.org] On Behalf Of Daryl Marie via nagdu Sent: Sunday, June 28, 2015 9:40 PM To: nagdu at nfbnet.org Cc: Daryl Marie Subject: [nagdu] Cooling vest? Hey, guys! If any of you use cooling vests for your dogs, which ones do you use? Any usage/care pointers? I am seriously considering buying the Ruffwear Swamp Cooler, but don't know if any other products are on the market. My dog is black, and seems to struggle with the 90+ temperatures we've gotten here over the past couple weeks. It's quite early in the summer here for such temperatures, so I am hoping for a relief from the heat, especially with a 45-minute bus commute in an un-air-conditioned bus. Thanks!
