Rox, I thought Soleil and Jenny could be cousins, but the colours are all wrong! Jenny the black beauty can't have a YELLOW cousin :P J/K

Pam, BC/Alberta Guide Dogs issues martingale (half-check) collars that go over the head.  Last summer, I noticed Jenny wasn't responding AT ALL to corrections.  This may have been due to accidentally pulling too tight on the leash, thus correcting her for behaviours that were not correction-worthy, or perhaps she just didn't care.  So last summer, I switched to a plain nylon buckle collar.  I can do a short tug on the leash to help get her focused, and that does seem to work, so I don't regret changing it up. :)
