[nagdu] Ear Infection Again

    Hello:

First, congratulations to Jenine and the new pup. I hope you and Roger have
many happy years together. Also, finally you got back to having a golden,
which I know you love.

As for the ear infections. Last summer I had this problem with my new
golden. My vet said Eva has allergy ears. He said it was probably food but
a change in food didn't help her ears or her constant itchiness. I think it
is an environmental allergy. Once we had the deep frost last fall, Eva was
fine. Now that spring is coming , she is spending more time out in the yard
and she's already itching and shaking her head. My vet did give me
an ear cleansing solution. During the winter I only needed it once or twice
a month. I'll probably have to go back to the once or twice a week if her
ears are like they were last summer. Fortunately the cleansing solution is
not expensive and regular use helps to prevent more serious infections.

Sandra and Eva

Iâ?Tll echo everyoneâ?Ts sentiments about the grain-free foods. They really
did help my last dog with some allergies that manifested around his lips.

The new little guy seems to be doing well on the Taste of the Wild Pacific
Stream that we began using with Swap.

Yes, I have a new dog. Swap retired and I now have Roger, a 56 pound male
Golden. Heâ?Ts quite the little dude too and is looking forward to
convention season.
