Kind of like some people's views about blind people. You know,
either we're super amazing because we get out of bed in the
morning, get dressed and go out of the house, or we can't do
anything and our spouses, children, parents, whoever, care for
us. Right? So nice when I meet somebody who is just normal with
me. The sad thing is when I think that I'm accepted for who I am
by someone and then they say, "Oh, you can't do this or that
because you're blind". It's kind of a shock to the system. Like
my friend who was in my class this time at Seeing Eye who said
that her best friend said, "Well, what about going out to dinner,
or when you visit me? Like the dog suddenly made this huge
difference. People are strange sometimes. Debby and Nova
