[nagdu] barking?

Hi,
Thomas has never barked in harness unless I am teasing him. :) He has however backed off from people he's not comfortable with and has tried to hide behind my legs or walk away or around that person. This has always made me feel weary of that person when he's done it.
My boy only barks in harness when he spots a cat and then starts bouncing and his tail wags like a dinger.
He does bark when he plays or when someone rings my front door bell.
I really don't worry about him barking as he very rarely does it when working so when or if he does then I know there is a good reason for it.
You will probably find it was because that person was staring at him in a very threatening manner and it is good that we listen to our dogs as they know when things aren't kosher. I will never go or talk to somebody if my boy isn't happy with the situation.
Trust your dog they know better than humans.
Cheers
Diane and Thomas Marks
