A juno walk is a walk with an instructor that simulates working a guide dog. You are instructed on how to hold the handle and leashe, and you get to learn about pace, and the amount of pull you want in your dog. Is it exactly the same as working a dog, no, however it helps a lot, and it helps the instructor in giving you the best match possible. It also enables the instructor to give the client immediate feedback on what they are doing well with, and what they can improve upon.
I do not know why it is called a juno walk, just the term they use I guess.
