Subject: [NAGDU] Sad news about Bogart

Hello to all my friends:I have some sad news to share with you. Last night Bogart came home from work with me, enjoyed a good supper and some playing. We went out for our evening walk, played in the snow off leash and we enjoyed some pretty hard core wrestling. J We came home and got ready for bed. Bogart was scratching at his bed, since it is never perfect, and then came to me seemingly with an issue. Suddenly he had a seizure, laid down and then left us forever. This is a very sad situation but be comforted knowing that Bogart felt no pain and was being petted and told he was a good boy by both Susan and myself until he was gone.Bogart was such a gift to my life. Me, who wondered if I would love a dog, learned so much about my capacity to care and the capacity of an animal to be committed to me as well. He went to so many cool places. I think the topper was he was the only dog to go in the chapel at the Tower of London where Anne Boleyn was buried. He was a true individual, loyal forever but had his own ideas of how I should get from point A to B. Like in sky train stations when I asked him to find stairs he took me to an elevator because that is how he rolled. Only the best for Bogart.I can’t begin to say how much he will be missed by Susan, me and everyone who encountered him. If anyone has any pictures of him they could share with us that would be wonderful. You can email them to g.steeves at shaw.caOn behalf of Bogart, thanks for being part of our lives.Good bye Bogart and we’ll see you when we see you.Gary PS: We are grateful for all your support but please allow us a few days to come to terms with this new change.
