I’m posting this article as another side to your discussion. I’m not pro-sedation, either, but I prefer to be well-informed of all sides first before making a decision. I post this here in that endeavor to help you be the most informed that you can be before you make your decision on whether to do non-sedation dental scaling vs. sedated cleaning. The decision is yours, and I would not judge you either way as long as you are well-informed of all sides of the issue. You have to do what is best for your pet.
